About Us

WHO WE ARE

Revived Athlete Recovery and Massage is an injury prevention facility designed to bring your performance back to life with all forms of body enhancing modalities. Our injury prevention specialists are highly educated, trained and certified in body work, human movement and sports biomechanics. We have been working in the athletic industry for 8+ years helping athletes achieve their highest potential of all levels, pain and injury free.

That’s what makes us different is that our staff has experience and knowledge about sports and athletics, so we can speak your language when you come in which allows us to pinpoint on how to treat you properly.

We want to stress that you do not only have to be an athlete to need recovery. To us, an athlete is anyone who uses their body and repetitive motions to complete their everyday tasks. That includes anyone who works laborious jobs to an office desk worker. You deserve to live and work pain free.

Revived also understands the need of some individuals who would like to complete their recovery on their own terms and own journey, which we also support. Our facility allows you to use the self-care forms of recovery modalities at your own leisure. If you need any help, you can always ask!

Madi – MS, CSCS, LMT
Ariel – USAGC, LMT
Tanisha – LMT, CCT, CPT, CES

WHAT SETS US APART

Our injury prevention specialists treat the individual to their roots, not the injury itself. We can assess and find the root causes to your pain. This is the facility that will prevent you from going to rehab. It’s Prehab. Not only do we help treat you, but we educate you to give you the full scope of how healthy you can truly be. If you want to be faster, stronger, and more efficient in your movement then you need to treat your body to allow it to do so. You’re only as good as your recovery allows you to be.

What Our Happy Client’s Have to Say:

“Since the beginning of my college career as a student athlete on the wrestling team, Madi has been by my side when it came to achieving my goals on and off the mat. Considering her insightful knowledge on injury prevention, proper training plans and mindset, she was the perfect individual to have in my corner! I can’t thank Madison enough for keeping me strong and healthy throughout my athletic career!”

“Madi has always been a big help for recovery! One of the best ways she has helped heal my muscles is the mobility sessions. She talks me through what I am supposed to do when I stretch and where I should feel it. Another thing that helps is doing the guided meditation at the end of our mobility sessions and being able to relax. She is great at calming my brain down and it helps me feel refreshed after a workout!”

Maddy

D3 Womens Ice Hockey Player

“Madi is one of the most hard working people I’ve been around in sports. At Western New England, she worked with every single team. With over 10 teams on campus, Madi made us feel like we were the only team that she worked with. Each session was specific to our sport. Her professionalism and knowledge of her craft makes any athlete she works with extremely fortunate.”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Revived Athlete Therapy, and I must say, it was a phenomenal experience. Ariel and Madison, the therapists, provided us with what they aptly named the ‘Elbow Grease’ session. Their expertise shone through as they skillfully loosened up our tight muscles, particularly in the back and shoulders, which were sore from our regular workouts. Their approach was not just about applying techniques; it was about understanding our bodies and our workout routines, which made the therapy all the more effective. The ambiance of the place was also very welcoming and relaxing, adding to the overall therapeutic experience. It’s not just a treatment; it’s a rejuvenating experience for athletes or anyone with muscle tightness. I left feeling incredibly relieved and more flexible. Their hands are truly magical! I highly recommend Revived Athlete Therapy to anyone looking for an effective and soothing muscle therapy session.”

“Ariel works wonders. Can’t express how appreciative I was after my first visit to Revived Recovery. I injured my back pretty severely, and decided to visit Revived Recovery after extensively searching for help. I spent 90min with Ariel and felt like a totally different person afterwards. I was in so much pain I could barely walk, or breathe even, before my visit. Couldn’t believe how much better I felt afterwards. I highly recommend these guys! Certainly earned a customer for life with me, that’s for sure. Great locale and professional staff, too. Thanks again for everything, guys.”

“Madi, Ariel, and Tanisha are growing and fostering a unique community where athletes of all backgrounds are brought together under one unified umbrella. The comprehensive staff-provided and self-care services they offer are now a mainstay in my endeavors as both an amateur strongman and CrossFit coach. Their availability outside the 9-5 window and on weekends speaks to how passionate they are about their work, helping as many individuals as possible, and making an impact on the greater Worcester athletic community at large.”

Greg A.

“Had a deep tissue massage with Tanisha, it was amazing. She mixed massage with active stretching and hit areas that I’ve never had worked on during previous massages. I will definitely be going back.”

Angela N.

“I often have a stress induced back spasm that occurs more often than I’d like. Madi has worked on me more than once during those episodes and every single time I feel immediate relief. Her background in strength and conditioning mixed with her massage knowledge really is a perfect combination for understanding the body, how it moves and what needs to be addressed to help in your recovery or maintenance. It is wonderful even to just have a chat with her during your intake , she listens and understands with her mind and heart to get to the root of your physical ailment. You immediately see her passion for helping people feel and perform at their best. Madi is someone I hope to have a long standing professional relationship as well as someone I will trust to be able to aid in my self care journey. I am not a professional athlete but, between my love for physical fitness and my career, Madi is there to ensure I am performing at my peak!”

Cassie

Strength Training/Fitness Enthusiast

“Coach Madi was one of the biggest factors in my success as a hockey player. In addition to strength development; which was easily noticed by increases in weight for compound movements each year, another area of the game that she developed was my mobility and injury prevention. I was very lucky to compete all four years in the NCAA without suffering any major injuries on the ice. Flexibility and mobility were tools that she worked with me and helped me develop. Working with Madi improved my strength, mobility, physical health and mental health. She is to be thanked for me being able to continue my career after college to play professionally.”

Andrew

D3 Mens Ice Hockey and Professional Internationally

“As a former D1 baseball player and baseball coach, the skills that Madi taught me were invaluable to my career, my players careers, and now my overall wellness for life. So often athletes focus on training to the fullest and neglect recovery, but Madi taught me and my teammates that recovery is crucial for peak performance and when she introduced techniques such as trigger pointing it immediately made an impact on our peak performance and overall wellness.”

Kyle

U. Notre Dame Baseball

“My freshman year I was suffering with lower back pain and really bad IT band followed by knee pain as well. Madi ended up telling me my hips were out of alignment. Every year after that before games I had my hips realigned, which helped reduce the pain in the lower half of my body!”

Ali

D3 Field Hockey Player

“I’ve seen Madi several times, every time I leave feeling like a new man. I work a labor intensive job and she literally saves me every time! 5+ stars. Always professional but laid back.”
